Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) is one of the largest research universities in whole Germany. Founded in the year 1743, today more than 38,000 people study at FAU’s three campuses – Nuremberg, Fürth and Erlangen. A total of 5 different faculties offer students the opportunity to choose from a large number of study programs and to further their education and research in a wide variety of subject areas.
